Someone brought this immature male black-throated blue warbler (Setophaga caerulescens) into the vet clinic where my wife works. After a full assessment by the doctor, the bird was released into the wild, but not until after I got a few pictures of it! I've never seen this warbler species before. Apparently the adult males are more of a slate blue color whereas the immature males can have more of an aqua hue with green/yellow fringes on the feathers. This little guy was quite beautiful, especially under bright lighting!
