The center of this wetland was almost exclusively pickerelweed and a lot of it was blooming! Check out the pollinator on the bottom right! I think it is Agapostemon splendens, a native species of sweat bee
Anolis carolinensis
This is a highly invasive species in Florida with wide-ranging ecological and economic implications, but with the striking red color of its berries, it sure can be striking to look at!
